Meet the Chairs of The Nina Haven Circle of Scholars, our growing alumni group.
Pamela Waxler Fogt

Pamela Waxler Fogt, a native of Stuart and a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, joins Nina Haven Scholarships, Inc., as co-chair of the Alumni Association. In this capacity, she will help to create a community known as The Circle of Scholars, bringing together current recipients of Nina Haven Scholarships with “alumni” of the program. More than one thousand individuals have received Nina Haven scholarships over the past four decades and have established professional careers in the Stuart area and around the globe.They are ready to serve as mentors to the newest members of The Circle of Scholars.

Pam holds a BA degree in Political Science from Stetson University and, in addition to her career in financial services, has been active in community organizations in the area. She has chaired the Board of The Elliott Museum during a period of growth and development, founded “Old Home Week” at the Elliott to bring together the founding families of the region, and presented programs for The Stuart Heritage Museum.

In 2010, Pam received the mARTies Award for “Outstanding Volunteer in the Arts” from The Arts Council of Martin County and has been nominated for “Outstanding Volunteer Philanthropist” as part of the National Philanthropy Day recognition program.

Pam is married to attorney Thomas Fogt and has two children: Allison and Alexander.
Teri-Ross Icyda, DMD
Teri matriculated through the Martin County Public School System. The Nina Haven Foundation provided him the encouragement and opportunity to realize his educational and career dreams. Upon graduating from Tuft's School of Dental Medicine, Teri returned to practice in Stuart. He has had the privilege to serve his profession in many capacities including President of the Florida Dental Association and in many capacities for the American Dental Association.
